My sister has just moved out of home, and I wanted to make something to welcome her and her new roommates into their new place, so I made these. They were easy enough and look cute in their little cup cake cases.

The recipe is adapted from the one on the back of the pack of fried noodles, but I didn’t have exactly what they wanted so hey presto!

Nutty Chocolate Noodles

  • 1 pack fried noodles (200g)
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter

Crush up the noodles so they’re pretty small (otherwise you’ll struggle to fit them into the cases. Melt the chocolate, and warm the almond butter. My method for melting chocolate is to put in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir, then put in for another 30 seconds…. and so on until it is melted. If there is only a small portion that is unmelted, then don’t be tempted to put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Just stir it for about 30 seconds and it should melt down.

Stir it all in together, and then spoon into the cup cake cases, and refrigerate to set.
