Nearly all of us wake up on New Year’s Day and think of a bunch of goals or changes we need to make to the year. Get healthier, lose weight, fall pregnant, exercise more yada yada yada.
Well, it’s nearly February and so I wanted to check in and see how your goals are going?
If you set off the blocks hard, but are now waning, then this podcast will hopefully help. It’s about how to set SMART goals for 2017. It’s a formula that has been around for quite a while and they use it sometimes with alcoholics who aren’t religious and therefore don’t want to join Alcoholics Anonymous, and it’s what I use.
In the podcast, I share with you the formula for SMART goals, some general hints and tips for setting and achieving goals, and my GIANT goal for this year (hint: I’m being sarcastic).
Falling pregnant is hard, and we often need to make lifestyle changes to make that happen (even though the crackhead down the road can fall pregnant at the drop of a hat…), so check out the podcast, see what you think, but above all, go easy on yourself.
If I’ve learnt one thing about making change and moving forward, it’s that it ain’t easy, and failure is pretty much part of the plan, so keep at it.
